The Shops at 3900 Hamilton Fourth Annual “Cupcakes for a Cause” and Open House Raises $2,000 for Autism Speaks of the Lehigh Valley
ALLENTOWN, PA – (June, 2015) The Shops at 3900 Hamilton are pleased to announce that its Fourth Annual Cupcakes for a Cause and Open House on Thursday, April 25 raised $2,000 for Autism Speaks of the Lehigh Valley.
Retailers from The Shops at 3900 Hamilton entered their cupcakes in for a competition of Best Tasting, Most Creative and Most Visually Appealing as judged by fans and by local celebrity judges: Nancy Miltenberger, a committee member, volunteer and fundraiser from the local Autism Speaks chapter; Krissy Barnes, a local resident living with Autism and Bill White, columnist from The Morning Call who has been a cupcake judge from the first Cupcakes for a Cause event in 2012. Cupcakes were offered by participating merchants at The Shops at 3900 Hamilton, including Talbots, Bixler’s Jewelers, Swartz Kitchens & Bath Showroom, Santander Bank, Barre3 Yoga Studio, H&R Block, ReVive! Hair Salon, Edward Jones and The Paperbag. Winners of the competition were as follows:

“We are delighted that the Shops at 3900 Hamilton chose Autism Speaks for their fourth annual Cupcakes for a Cause. Raising $2,000 for our local chapter was great, and was also a wonderful way to raise awareness for Autism Speaks,” says Melissa Zavorski, the Field Development Director of the Autism Speaks’ Lehigh Valley Chapter.
